We meet each other on the day of the tour at the time and meeting-point stated.
Of course we can pick up larger groups at their quarters.
Equipped with your shoes, swimming things (you wonīt need anything else) we are ready to start.
Accompanied by the beautiful landscape of the area around the Lake Garda we have to drive approx. 30 – 40 minutes
until we reach the entrance of our canyons.
The most difficult and sweaty task is waiting there for us –
we have to put on the 5 mm semi-dry wetsuit and the rest of the equipment (canyoning belt and helmet).
You can leave your personal equipment in one of our buses – our driver will always have a look at them.
Directly in the river bed you will get a professional introduction concerning technics,
behaviour and safety, so that nothing gets in the way of the forthcoming adventure and fun.
Now we can start! On foot we have to follow the stream into the canyon. There you will find small
passages to climb down, washed out natural slides, jumps and roping opportunities. But donīt worry,
each of this points is secured by a guide – it is not a problem if you donīt want to jump, because
nobody HAS TO – there is always the possibility of roping or to go round the point in another way.
Peer pressure is misplaced in the canyon.
After exciting hours in the clough our driver is already waiting for us at the exit.
We can change our clothes in the sun and have a snack.
With unforgettable impressions and scores of experiences we drive back towards Riva del Garda.
What about eyeglasses/cameras?
Eyeglasses or contacts are not a problem – but it would be best to bring something with you to tie them up.
Waterproof single-use cameras are advisable for the canyon. They partly take acceptable pictures,
but the prints are often underexposed if there is not enough light. Normally we always take our waterproof digital camera with us.
We burn a CD with the pictures of the tour, which you can buy after the trip.
Can I hurt myself?
Normally not, because we try to keep the sources of danger and the risk of injury as small as possible by offering
- professionally trained guides with long experience,
- high-grade equipment,
- the correct assessment of our participants,
- the correct assessment of the outside influences.
Small grazes, bruises and possibly a sprained ankle can unfortunately not always be avoided.
Of course it is a precondition to follow the instructions of the guide.
Which qualifications do I have to fulfill?
We expect the following for our tours:
- you should be able to swim
- you should be in a good state of health
- you should be sure-footed and not suffer from dizziness
